My love of beautiful fabrics and thoughtful design began long before Bella Headbands. After earning my degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, I began my career designing and making clothing and costumes. I loved the creative process, but I found myself continually drawn to the details—especially accessories.

Bella Headbands began almost by accident. I was always left with beautiful remnants of fabric that I couldn’t bear to see go unused. When a customer asked if I could make her a headband, I did—and that simple request changed the direction of my business.

Why Bella?

​

The name Bella is a nod to my Italian heritage—bella means “beautiful” in Italian. It also reflects a phrase that has held special meaning for me throughout my life: la vita è bella—life is beautiful.

​

It’s a sentiment I’ve carried with me for years and one that beautifully reflects what Bella Headbands has always been about: finding beauty in the details and creating something special for everyday life.

​

The headbands quickly found an audience of their own. As they began selling to customers and stores throughout the United States and abroad, I made the decision to devote my work entirely to creating them.

​

Today, every Bella Headband is still created with the same attention to detail that started it all. I personally select the fabrics and design each piece with an emphasis on quality, comfort and timeless style. From classic solids and rich velvets to preppy plaids and distinctive prints, my goal is to design and create beautiful, wearable headbands you’ll reach for again and again.

Trends come and go. I have always believed that beautiful fabrics, thoughtful craftsmanship and classic style endure.
